University of Louisiana at Monroe president Nick J. Bruno, Ph.d. accepts an award on behalf of the university from the Monroe Garden Study League at the Strauss Theatre, Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012. The award, "The Garden Club of America's Club Civic Improvement Commendation" was given to the university for its architectural and landscaping contribution to its academic setting.
