The ULM Christmas tree became the focal point of Scott Plaza when its holiday lights were turned on. President Dr. Nick J. Bruno, joined by Miss Louisiana Meagan Crews, pulled the switch that lit the tree, surrounding shrubbery, trees and even the library.
