The ULM Christmas tree became the focal point of Scott Plaza when its holiday lights were turned on. President Dr. Nick J. Bruno, joined by two little elves, pulled the switch that lit the tree, surrounding shrubbery, trees and even the library. The lighting opened the late afternoon festivities on Wednesday which featured the Hawkline, Miss ULM Monica Whitman, Miss Louisiana Holli Conway and Mr. ULM Derek Healy.
